Out from the black they stalk
Within the white they walk
They're here to rend and tear
To leave the bones stripped bare
Swarm of fangs and eyes
Snap down the jaws until it dies
Crimson blood flowing forth
Beautiful brutality of the North
The wind howls and wolves harmonise
Eyes fade as it dies
Carnage spread all around the place
Frozen terror on a lifeless face
Blood on the white snow
Gore on the ice floe
How the cold winds blow
White wolves
Down from the high hills
Out from the deep chills
In for the hard kill
White wolves
Thrashing forms bring it down
Sputtering scarlet, the lesser drowns
Throat ripped ragged and wide
The strong have lived and the weakling died
The butchering will continue on
Regurgitate entrails for the spawn
Masticate steaming viscera
Feast on the carcass, Nature's law
The wind howls and wolves harmonise
Eyes fade as it dies
Carnage spread all around the place
Frozen terror on a lifeless face
Blood on the white snow
Gore on the ice floe
How the cold winds blow
White wolves
Down from the high hills
Out from the deep chills
In for the hard kill
White wolves
Swirling guitars, furious drums, vocals that at the same time howl from infinite distance and are right up in your head; everything put into dissonant form with the help of unconventional songwriting. This album is my personal key to the icelanding black metal madness that I've ignored for way too long! Lukas Kaufmann
Pretty much the best Black/Speed Metal I've listened to since I learned about Evil Invaders and Vulture. Everything you'd love to be reminded of about this musical era is there. The influences are what you'd expect too: Motörhead, Venom, Bathory, early Slayer, Celtic Frost; aggressive vocals, tortured guitar solos, pounding drums; everything is fast, clear and still a little grimy, but without reverb cranked up to the max. Amazing band, amazing album. Odiumediae
This is my favorite metal album of all time. The only bad thing is that the vocals are somewhat buried in the mix. Otherwise, the record perfectly blends a mix of metal genres with excellent songcraft. A record you'll listen to again and again. The Real Nick House
Inside you'll find a near-psychedelic mix of punk and experimental noise: Raw, heavy, soaked in reverb... really effective and really difficult to describe. You need to check this one out for yourself. Katimavik86
